As our People & Culture Assistant Manager/Manager, you will be at the heart of our people strategy—working closely with the Head of People & Culture in leading talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, and compliance, while working closely with the leadership to align HR practices with business goals.
Major duties & responsibilities
- Recruitment & Talent Acquisition – Partner with stakeholders to understand staffing needs and manage end-to-end recruitment processes, from job posting to interviewing and hiring.
- Employee Relations & Engagement – Advise stakeholders on employee relations matters and foster a positive workplace culture by promoting employee engagement activities.
- Performance Management – Oversee the performance appraisal process and implement timely and meaningful improvements
- Compensation & Benefits – Conduct market benchmarking, administer employee compensation and manage employee benefits scheme
- Learning & Development – Identify learning needs and design appropriate development interventions to promote continuous learning and career development opportunities.
- Compliance & Legal Requirements – Ensure current and proposed HR practices are compliant with Singapore’s employment laws and regulations (e.g., Employment Act, CPF, MOM regulations).
- HR Strategy & Policy Development – Review and update HR policies regularly to ensure they are aligned with current best practices and legal requirements.
- Data & Reporting – Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases and provide regular reports on key HR metrics.
Profile:
Skills & Requirements:
- At least 8 years of experience, managing a diverse workforce and handling various HR functions such as recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compensation
- Proficient in local manpower regulations, compliance and HR best practices
- High level of integrity, HR Ethics and professionalism.
- Able to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Having these are a plus
- Experience in PAYDAY system
- Have a passion towards conservation and science
