Major Functions:
As the Rooted In Nature Programme Intern, you will be responsible for supporting the Programme Team in developing and executing our mindfulness programmes. This includes programme design, communication with stakeholders, and assisting with mindful nature walks.
Major Duties and Responsibilities::
- Support the development of the Mindful Nature Walks programme. This includes managing complex project schedules, identifying potential stakeholders, and ideating mindfulness or nature-based activities.
- Identify and liaise with stakeholders such as beneficiary organisations to co-ordinate programme-related matters or vendors for procurement.
- Conduct literature review and data mining from websites or documents from various sources.
- Develop an impact assessment methodology to track effectiveness of intervention on participants.
- Support project management, review of feedback, reports and proposals.
- Develop resources and manage logistics for the programme.
- Assist the team during mindful nature walks, such as by conducting activity briefings, managing participants, and administering feedback surveys.
Requirements:
- Degree preferably in Psychology, Counselling, Psychotherapy or related field. Individuals without a degree but extensive mindfulness and nature therapy experience are welcome to apply.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to write clearly and concisely for a variety of audiences.
- Has experience in project management, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Detail oriented and flexibility to work on other projects as needed
- Interested in environmental and sustainability issues
- Comfortable working in outdoor environments
- Knowledge on local biodiversity
- Passionate about conservation and driving real impact
This is a full-time, paid internship with a duration of 3 months.
